What the survey checks
The surveyor looks at the size, pitch and shading of your roof, the condition and capacity of your fuse board, and the route a cable would take to your parking space. They also ask how you use electricity through the day and how far you drive, because that decides the size of the battery and the type of charger.
Your postcode tells us whether SP Energy Networks or SSEN is your network operator. We handle the notification or approval as part of the job, so you do not need to contact them yourself.
What your quotation includes
Every quotation lists the panels, inverter, battery, charger, mounting, electrical work, commissioning and paperwork as separate items. Scaffolding is stated clearly. Where a figure depends on an assumption, such as your tariff or your mileage, the assumption is written beside it so you can check it. Interest-free credit up to £30,000, subject to status.
