Two network operators, one process
Scotland is split between two electricity network operators. SP Energy Networks looks after central and southern Scotland, and SSEN looks after the north, the Highlands and the Islands. Every solar system, battery and home charger has to be notified to the right one, and your installer handles that for you.
We install through MCS-certified partners. If your town is not listed above, call us anyway: the same survey, quotation and installation process applies everywhere we work.
FAQ
Questions about our coverage
Which parts of Scotland do you cover?
We cover all of Scotland. The area pages here describe the places we are asked about most, but if your town is not listed, we can still arrange a survey.
How do I know which network operator covers my home?
SP Energy Networks covers central and southern Scotland, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Fife and Ayrshire. SSEN covers the north, including Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen and Inverness. Your installer handles the notification either way.
Does where I live change the installation?
It can. Conservation areas, roof materials such as granite or pantiles, coastal wind and off-street parking all vary by place. The survey picks these up for your address.
No-obligation quote
Ready to see what it costs for your property?
Tell us your postcode, your monthly bill and your property type. We will call to arrange a survey, then send one written quotation for solar, battery and charger as one system.
